I follow the strangeness, beauty and horror of nature- to the edges where they meet, intertwine or separate- imaged in micro-biological processes.

I approach art as an exploratory investigation of textures. I forge connections between materials- sewn, painted, photographed, sculpted. Leaf veins, plastic bags, cactus spines, sap nuggets, and hair follicles fill me with awe.

I’m in an endless recycling process of the materials of my life, tiny objects that fascinate and accumulate and can be woven into a new worlds. Collections of seedpods, bones, lichen, hair, wax-become a body- fused together and reformed.

My love for the cyclic transformations of organic life- the rhythms of birth, growth, decay, death and rebirth become enmeshed in what I choose to make.

Art helps me build little bridges towards spaces I don’t understand and could not otherwise reach
